My crewcab conversion

Nope not a dodge crewcab, i'm starting down the path to a Fummins.

This is my super charged 460 gas guzzling crewcab, 1989 F350 with a kingpin dana 60 front axle with detroit locker, rear axle has detroit also.

This is my donor truck. Has a ve pumped cummins with a 518 overdrive trans. Currently has a NP205 t-case behind that with a long adapter, which I don't really like. So I think i'm going to pick up a 241hd t-case to bolt the the A518 just so that big cast iron monster isn't hanging off the back end of that little aluminum tail shaft housing.

So thats my big project for the year. Can't wait to get it done!

Cool.
I'll bet that blown 460 gets awesome mileage.

You might get a 100% mpg improvement with the swap.

haha yeah, try 9mpg empty on the highway. So I don't think a 100% improvement is too outrageous!

No I bought the CC with the SC already on the 460. It doesn't have as much power as you would think. It sucks towing

I just wish I had one like yours. The only downside would be the short bed.

I am now in the process of pulling the cummins from the donor truck. Just about have it all unhooked and ready to pull.

I can't wait to have this thing up and running. It is going to be a ton of work and the swap is mostly done already! I couldn't imagine doing it all from scratch.
