Mule is getting better

Hi all, Well did most of the pump tweeks with great power improvement. Now I am thinking it's bigger turbo time. Will this help with the smoke when I am under load, and any tips on which turbo to use for the best $$. Also would adding a intercooler be benificial? Thanx.

I read your first post and got the info you left.

I would start with the 16cm(haven't installed it yet just going with the advice giving her on the form) housing, but my choise for ex. housing was for pull heavy loads.

I traded my 21cm for a 16cm a couple months ago. Spool up is quicker and the truck got a little quieter. The smoke has diminished to an "Economy haze". EGt's are still higher than I want but fun comes with a price. And the stock turbo shows 25psi at the current power setting. I still have a little room on the fuel screw, I hope. Smoke screw is flush with the nut and AFC star wheel is two turns from bottom. I might just crank it down all the way this weekend.

Beware also that extra power, even that off of just the pump tweaks, can seriously diminish the life span of the stock torque convertor.
