motor mount fastener question

motor mount fastener question
This is an odd one, but here's my problem:
On the driver's side, for some reason I don't understand, I am suddenly missing the "through bolts" that hold the two parts of the motor mount bracket together. The engine is resting on the crossmember on that side, and my PS line has been rubbing on the bracket and now it's leaking. (all of this was completely missed by the shop I recently hired to install a new steering gear... !)
Anyway, does anyone have any idea what size and grade those bolts are supposed to be? I really don't want to have to pull one from the other side, but I guess if I have to, I have to.
Can't find even torque specs on them in the FSM.
thanks!

Torque specs are in the Diesel Supplement of the FSM. 35ft/lbs rings a bell but don't quote me yet. I used a 9/16" socket and wrench when installing those bolts recently. Much like the rest of the motor, I'd bet they could be metric as well. A 9/16" head is typical of a 3/8" shank. The closest metric variant to those being 14mm and about 10mm respectively. Thread pitch I'm not sure of but it's coarse. They're probably Grade 5. Nothing wrong with going above that.
I do know I was able to thread a 3/8" nut onto them so it's possible they're SAE.

They are a 3/8 bolt not sure exactly on the length but you should be able to learn that by measuring the width of the mount itself. A 3/8 bolt has a standard torque of 32 ft lbs plus or minus a few, it's not really a critical part that must be torqued.
