More Mods!! The bug has hit a vein!!

I have probably 3k more to doll up my baby.. so far I ordered the crossover steering, borgeson box and shaft, have custom 4" lift springs from national spring in production (eliminate rear blocks +2" and level front to rear). need to get tires and wheels to match new height (input welcome!)

So now I am looking in to fass or airdog fuel systems and a new fuel pin... I notice when my rig is parked downhill it fires up most vigorously.. uphill, not so much. would these mods change that? I am rambling due to beer consumption on my day off.. Really just looking for advice on what to mod next!

Not 100% sure if they would work (I'm assuming they would) but I think your truck on 18x9 XD Revolvers with 35 12.5 18 Toyo Open Country M/T's would look pretty nice. Just my $.02

As for the starting I would double check your fuel lines before you throw money into a fass system . for what your going to do with mod's your stock system will be fine maybe swap to a second gen lift pump .

Agreed, they would look quite awesome.. but I will be doing some driving in sand and on lava rock in mexico.. so me thinks sticking with 16 in wheels for a softer ride and more sand traction might be superior.

Whats the difference between a 2nd gen LP and the piston LP I installed? There really isnt much of an issue with starting.. i just notice that it belches a little more smoke and it seems that the startup fuel pressure might be higher with the engine down hill from the tank.. I dunno.. novice thoughts

Sadly the smallest size is a 17x9 but they would look good with some 37's too

35's on 16's is an awesome combo. They look good, they are still functional for work, still get decent fuel mileage, have enough cushion/sidewall for a little offroading, and our trucks are to old for big wheels. Save the big blade bling for the new grocerie getters.

Ya might have to re- read. 37's are great, but not a lot of clearance with a 2" lift. Not saying ya couldn't, just think 35's would work better. That sure is a cool truck simplysmn.

well it say's he's going with 4 in lift so tires should be good plus he's doing crossover so he's Golden on steering .and Thank you on the truck it's my pride n joy just have to get it into 1 color first then I'll find something else to mess with on it . took 6 month's of Sunday's to build it so that was the fun part.

As far as tires/rims. Check discount tire direct. Their prices are usually the best. I'm liking my wrangler duratracs.

Don't go electric for lift pumps. It's not necessary amd a waste of money. Get a hungry diesel lift pump and if you want even more fuel buy a pro comp black pusher to run with it.

The 2nd gen pump is high pressure (30psi+), the low pressure piston pump is what you want as our ve pumps don't like more than 15psi without some work done to them. You can run a 2nd gen pump with a regulator but its just easier to get the LP piston pump instead, they provide plenty of fuel.

What is the bolt pattern for these rigs? I am going to order the wheel tire combo but I am not really sure where to start.. Discount tire? I would like to stick with 16" wheels but maybe gain some stance width. and go to a bigger size to fit the 4" lift.
