modified exhaust housings

ive been lookin at a rice burner addict who makes custom exhaust housings, tims turbos has a 8cm or 3" .63ar adaptable for the holset h1c and hx35 with or without the wastegate, a direct boltin ungated, im looking for a quicker spoolup on my 4bt jeep to keep our california air beautiful. i havent heard any hoopla from these resources, and wonder how diesel apps can benefit, has anyone tried this smaller housing?

I'm guessing drive pressure would be super crazy. Although still small have you thought of the 341 or 351? I'd guess the 341 would be a nice fit and cheaper in the long run.

Side note do you have a build thread or pictures? Sounds neat.

ive got 3 he351's, i love em, the jeep is packed tight already, and i dont really need the 4" exhaust, everything i have is manual trans, and the hx35 on the 4bt is laggy at my 4k elevation, im only offroading the jeep these days, so im not concerned too much about egt's and drive pressure, mostly getting thru the gears and up to speed.

Hood stack! I understand, may get a decent answer over on Compd in the turbo section. I doubt many guys have thought of getting a smaller housing for their trucks.

Wonder if you could find and adaptor to go 341/351 to 3" exhaust to help with space restrictions.
