Unhappy misfire

so i got the new injectors in wendsday, and friday i go to drive to work, and i was in a hurry so i didnt wait for the wait to start light to go off, (see as it was about 50' outside) and when it started it shook real bad, and sounded like it was missin. and when i pulled out it left a plume of grey smoke. is this just because i didnt wait, or is this a problem with the injectors. because it never did this with the old injectors.

Sounds like the timing has changed a little with the new injectors, making it harder to cold start. Have you done a timing bump yet? Does everything smooth out after a minute or two?

Like 90firstgen said it sounds like a timing thing, possibly with the way the KSB work's.

Big injectors are a little lumpier on a cold start than the stockers. Most of them will haze at low temps as well.

I don't usually preheat them unless it's close to freezing, and it never affects starting. I wouldn't even consider it a cause at 50 deg.

What kind of injectors did you get? My 190s haze a little when cold but otherwise run fine.

they are a bosch injector, brazilian made. the exact name is unknown. its a four hole injector, but i think im gonna pull them back out and return them to the guy, seeing as they did little of nothing for me. and then i might invest in a pair of 190's or something of the similiar.
