yeah im pretty happy with the truck, I took her through some mud this long weekend and my dirtbike came unsecured in the back and put the trucks very first dent in the top of the box. No worries though im thinkin of smoothing out the whole body and painting it right away anyways. I cant believe the amount of torque these diesels are packin

yeah i dont mind the white and grey at all. Im amazed how little rust there is on this truck, only some in the middle of the box where the old man before me had his fifth wheel. The transfer case was soo stiff to shift into 4hi and 4lo........im almost certain it has never been 4wheeled at all
now i gotta figure out do i play with the engine er leave it the same and put some 35's on her and some new lifted springs.....see if the ride can get any better
aparently just reading around on this site, there are a lot of fairly cheap ways to get a little more power outta these first gens. Smaller exhuast turbine sounds like a fairly easy way to get the turbo spooling a little quicker. I havn't even checked to see if these turbos are waste gated er not? Can you play with the boost on em at all?

i couldn't agree more, i've had an o4 and an 05 dodge diesel, and i can honestly say they just dont compare. You know its built right when its 15 years old and still drives how it does, i've heard about so many of these diesels going to 500 000 km's, mine is barely even broken in

That's a sweet truck. My neighborhood seems to be crawling with first gens. There are two club cabs in particular that always catch my eye, a red and white 4x4 and one with the same color scheme as your new ride. They look really good bone stock or dressed with the right tire/wheel combo! Enjoy!
