Yes I've thought about the roof mount but not the van under seat. With my firewall being cut back 9" to give room for the Cummins makes a under dash unit a pain. BUT it seems best to have the under dash so the cool air can blow directly on me via dash vents. You all agree?

Rear unit in a van is usually vented up to the ceiling and out several downward and forward vents across the top of the rear doors.

I made some progress. Built a frame on the bottom of the cab while its off the truck frame. Then we set the the body and new air ride frame on the truck. Got it all centered up while lifting the body back off but leaving the air ride frame in place. Now I was able to mount the cab air ride system and it WORKS! As I would stand on it air would transfer into the bags. After stepping off it would release some air to keep its ride height.

New air bags and shocks should be here Monday then hopefully we can mount the body back on permanently.

Still been pecking at my old Power Wagon. Today we fired up the Cummins to test the 47 RH transmission. The flywheel is rubbing on the transmission side making a squeaking noise. You guys have any idea what this might be rubbing on?

My bad on thinking the flywheel was rubbing. After closer inspection (putting my glasses on) I quickly realized that I was looking were the ring gear was machined and welded to the flywheel.

A closer inspection I found the torque converter bolts were rubbing on the bell housing. After removing the lock washers and re-applying lock tight the terrible noise is gone. Guess I could have just left it alone and the noise would have eventually faded away

Ok I think I solved the problem of the cab rocking back n forth on the my cab air ride system. Using 1 1/4 solid round stock I made an anti sway bar that will hopefully help prevent the cab from leaning when going around corners. The hime joints are threaded so it leaves a little adjustment to help keep the cab sitting level.
