Mild Daily Criver Twins Set-up Questions
A friend of mine has a 1994 1500 Standard Cab 6ft bed. We put a '92 intercooled cummins with 4500 trans 205 t-case and 60F D70 axles. Hes looking at doing a mild twin turbo set-up. One that he can drive everyday and maybe tow an occasional trailer of hay. he was wondering what the out come of using the H1C w/ 16cm exhaust as the top turbo and a HX35 as a bottom turbo. i thought it would be a little too restrictive. he isnt looking to make extremely high dyno numbers. Just more for the fact that it has twins and he could possibly build off of them at a later time.
Thanks

With the selection of turbo's you listed you would be better off with the HX35 by itself. Trying to use those two together in a set of twins wouldn't be worth the effort of mfg'ing the plumbing.

Keep a eye on the classifieds and also craisgslist and ebay. I bought my HX off of ebay for 90 bucks. It needed to be rebuilt which I planned on doing anyway and I upgraded the housing right away also. There are good finds out there you just have to keep a close eye out.
