Looks to good to tear up. If the cab is in grerat shape I wouldnt. But thats me. I would make a nice flat bed, maybe a rollback! I mean think about it. What can you use? Cab, front clip, motor, trans! Frame and rear you cant use unless you have another c & c. Im wierd I guess.

I feel the same way freight train, I have 2 rusty rotten trucks that I can't seem to cut up. I think its that everyone is buying them (rust free) and junking them just for a cummins swap. Before long there will not be many left. Good luck on the buy Jim5870.

My dad and I both fall into that catagory. He has a badly rusted 93 W250, 5spd he bought out of Erie that he just doesnt want to part with because it currently is his only 5spd.

Well I bought it and brought it home tonight. Paid $500.00
Cab is pretty shot, frame has holes behind rear axle. But it's got 6 good tires, recent new rad, good hood and right door, rad support, dually rear end, and of course a CTD engine and a recently rebuilt 518 trans. Owner wanted to unload it because he was having hard time starting it. When I inspected it I didn't tell him that his grids weren't working and the VE was leaking and needed re-sealing. I guess I'm a bad boy for not telling him they were somewhat easy
to cure.
