Might buy a 93

I just found what I think is a good deal on another 1st gen, and was hoping to get some advice on the potential purchase.

The truck is a 93 w250 custom/LE with 220k miles on it and he wants 4500 firm.

So far what I was told is that the steering box seal leaks a bit a little and there was a new tranny put in it a few years ago. (He says he has that documented as well as some other things.)

4" exhaust all the way through, and a smaller diameter turbo. (he is going to give me the old turbo as well.)

The paint is good except for a quarter panel that was repainted when he got into a shoving match with a tree. He says that there is no rust.

no lift, stock wheels

AC runs cold, but the cruise control does not work.

With my limited knowledge and my gut I feel this is a good deal, but I'd like to get anyones opinion on what they think. Any specific questions I should ask? Anything I should be on the lookout for when I go up there tomorrow to check it out.

Thanks.

Rust would be my only concern.
