Manual Transmission 93/01
Rebuilding an wrecked '93 2500 CTD with a 5 speed.Front end damaged split the gearbox and tranfer case.Found an '01 5 speed for a good price.Will it mate up to the '93 bell housing? New at this diesel stuff but it really appears to be interesting.Great place for an education,thanks in advance.

Search for NV4500 conversions and it will turn up lots of info.
The 01 trans will not work without some adapting. Will need a conversion bellhousing, some mounts, ect...
The getrag 360 was used from 89-93, the NV4500 in the 94-04? trucks. The NV5600 6spd was introduced around 01 as well.

i just did a nv4500 coversion...well am almost done
did not use a kit , used all 2nd gen parts i have lots of pictres
