Manual hand pump will not prime fuel system for me
I have pumped literally hundreds of times and I'm getting no fuel or bubbles out of the bleed screw at the banjo bolt on the supply line. HELP! Is it possible the manual pump is broken? It never feels like it gets harder to pump or that it's building any pressure at all.

Yeah that's getting there now. I was thinking on trying that before I posted this but I didn't feel totally comfortable.... But since someone else suggested it I felt okay going for it.
I got the manu primer to pump all the way out to two injectors. Then it started feeling kind of weak like t didn't have much fuel left in there. Doesn't it only have what's in the fuel filter available to prime? This is kind of what I'm thinking.... I was going to start cracking one at a time now and rolling over the motor to prime but I'm just charging my super low battery real quick.

No it pulls fuel from the tank, so you can keep pumping it. I just redid the IP on my donor 93 and when I went to prime the system I too felt like it was not getting much fuel from the manual lever...so I just kept pumping. Didn't realize I had primed the system and was just pumping fuel on to the ground.
Tight up the two injectors that have fuel...but not all the way...1/2 crank from tight. And do the rest about the same. Then start cranking. When you have fuel squirting out of all the injectors your ready to fire. Or it might do it on it's own.

Where is the FSS? I will check.
And I removed the injection pump because of a leaky seal on the backside under that 2-bolt cover. Fixed that and installed a 3200rpm spring while it was out and a BD fuel pin.
That's all. Reinstalled everything and now I just want her running again. All my wiring harnesses that were removed in the process seem to be plugged in. Next thig if I can't figure it out I'm going to pop the top and check on the BD fuel pin.... I just have a feeling

One thig that is making me scratch my head is before I went to install the new fuel pin the instructions say to look in he AFC chamber and make sure the guide pin is clean and will retrat all the way into the housing. Well it was already in (obviously because I pulled the old fuel pin out) so it says to "stroke the throttle linkage back and forth slightly to get it to pop out a bit and lubricate it with some clen diesel. Well I. Can fully pull my throttle linkage and it won't pop out or move AT ALL. it's stuck. What the heck

If the fuel shutoff solenoid wasn't getting 12 volts, then the fuel would be shut off, and I probably wouldn't be able to get the system purged of air up the injectors either. Or no?

No, itll still prime. I bet your throttle index is off. Try cranking it while giving it a little throttle, very how much throttle you give while trying to crank. Once it fires if it dies when you let off that's your problem.
