low pressure piston pump

where can i find the low pressure spring to make my piston pump work on my 1st gen unit?

Which piston-pump do you have and what is it's pressure-output ??

I would like to know also. I have a piston lift pump off of a 96 12 valve and i want to get a low pressure spring for it or whatever else i need to make it work.

i dont know. is there any visual differance? im assuming it is the higher pressure one.

a friend gave it to me, i think its off like a 96-97 12 valve

If that be the case, then it should be a 3936316.

You will need a bypass regulator ahead of the injection-pump to run it behind a VE.


I ?think? it was BC847 that did some pictures of the internal differences of the two pumps; they are around here somewhere.

Doesnt the spring make the difference? I remember seeing pictures of 2 different springs the other day. I need to know what spring to get so i dont have to buy a low pressure pump if possible.

Im in the same boat. Ive heard the regulators get real expensive.

Im fixin to order a Simflow Bypass Regulator. Im going to run 1/2'' line from the tank to the injection pump. Where do i put my bypass regulator?

between the filter and the injection pump

if you call vulcan performance they have them i called today it was 35$ + shipping. What do i do about a return line? Will the stock one work?


So im going to run 1/2'' from in the tank to the piston pump, than from the piston pump to my stock filter housing, than from the stock filter housing to the bypass regulator and than to the pump. Does this sound right?
