Low egts With a Denny 2 and full pow maxxed im stumped
Ok i know what you guys are thinking low egts are great why am i complaining. Well im not i just want to know what the deal is. I bought my denny t stage 2 and gds 60 mm upgrade the truck scoots now but egts only get to like 1000 i was thinking they would get way higher. I took the pin out to see where it was traveling on the rack, and noticed it wasnt getting all the way to the deepest point with the starwheel so i turned it down all the way and it still isnt getting there? anyway egts are only 150 more than my stock pin (not ground). i have a 3 inch exhaust that dumps at the t case. Also have an auto that isn't slipping positive engagements and firm quick shifts. Yesterday i turned up the full pow screw till runaway literally scared the crap out of me but was ready for it. backed it off and took it for a cruise runs good. NO INTERCOOLER? Am i missing something hear. Everything i have done is in my sig. timing advanced 1/8th thanks guys

probe before turbo so in the manifold backside. the trans fluid smells a little burnt but is red as it gets i will change it and run it for the time beingbut after talking to this guy from patc transmission said that the torque converter i have stalls at like 1500 which seems really high. i was thinking of getting the torque converter and rebuilding the trans myself. if it is not hard. the truck gets up and rips but seems like it could be lacking a little bit if i had a better converter it might help with gas mileage and getting the pow to the ground. Oh also i was wondering if i should eliminate my trans lines that run to the radiator and run them only to my cooler. My cooler doesnt have a fan it is just an auxilary cooler. does this sound like a good idea? thanks guys for the input.
Yes my truck is at full power with the screw all the way in right before runaway it did runaway on me yesterday and i turned it down 1 turn

I also run a TH400 behind my 12v, Art Carr were the only people that i found that could build a convertor to stand up behind my engine. Thier tons cheaper that that too..... 888-526-5868 ask for Alan tell him Ryan with the cummins powered drag truck sent ya. You will notice a ton of diff. with a tight convertor, the peak torq. band is short and super low on these engines you want a convertor locked and ready to buggie down around idle. Exp. with a 4x4 with big tires, give them a call they have great prices and better products, they sponser the trannies in my race truck.

What amount of stall should i get? or where does this thing need to be set at? I have a cable operated modulator by the way for the trans instead of the vaccumm one on the th400
there is some smoke but it clears and i do not have a boost gauge. I also changed the fuel filter recently like 1000 miles ago. i just got the motor in the truck and drive it occasionally trying to work the kinks out and get it 100 percent streetable. thanks guys for the input.
