love my new 1st gen.

About a month ago I bought a 93 3/4 4x4 club cab white and red with a five speed. Two owners w/144,000 miles bone stock from the day it left the floor, power windows, doors, mirrors w/ captain seats everything works(except reverse lights) its also really clean, all for 5800. I want to make it a good highway truck. I have adjusted the valves, new weather strip, syn oil all the way through, Idler pulley and belt. What else should I do to a truck with this mileage to get it ready to go? Oh did I mention I like driving this truck better than my 07.

Teh Getrag 5 Speed will last longer and run cooler if you overfill it by about 1.5 qts... and if you didint know already, it takes motor oil not gear lube...lots of folks make that mistake I guess..

Other than that, 144 isnt too high mileage wise at all, so there soukldnt be too much you have to do...

Either take the shifter off and fill it up or go through the PTO hole.
