Loud hum when brake pedal is depressed
Ok on my new to me 2nd gen 95 4x4 . . .
There is a loud hum when the brake pedal is depressed, goes away when released. Is this normal?

For some reason the hum went away when I fixed another problem. My air-blend dam was not working due to the vacuum line unhooked causing air to blow only in defrost mode. Connecting the vacuum line fixed the problem and the hum also went away.

When I was younger, I had a girlfriend who liked to drive around with me... That humming sound would make me hit the brakes when I really didn't want to stop at all, but I guess that's what you get for being young, dumb and full of......
