lost top hat spring

Exclamation lost top hat spring

well I got truck runnins again, was lift pump, so then i was doing the 3200 spring and while was trying to put it back together I lost the top hat spring. does any one know were I can get on in Colorado Springs thanks

Take a puck magnet and do a little fishing. I "lost" mine and took a bar type one and found it beside the driver-side tire. That might be cheaper if you have a magnet.

I dropped mine three times and found it on the grond once, in the front under the battery box, and in the frame rail. I spent more time lookin for the stupid thing then i think i spent on the whole job, i finally gave up and went to the auto parts store after lookin for the #$#$% spring for the second time and got a magnet on a stick sort of thing and got the spring the pin and the top hat the 2 more times i dropped it. With the magnet i am 99% sure you will find it.

Look in the yellow pages under "Diesel Fuel Injection Service", there is probably a pump shop closer than you think.

Must be a common thing. I dropped mine 2 times in a row and had to use a magnet to search for it also!

Id look for it in or around your truck first.
