Loose Bolts?

I was reading a KDP thread a while back and it mentioned the chances of a bolt loosing up are better in a 1st gen than a kdp. What bolt/bolts are they speaking of that may need retorqued.

Also does anyone have a Cummins part Number for the front seal?

When you pull the gear case cover you will see many (8-10?) bolts that hold the rear half of the case to the block. Its reccomended to retorque/locktite all of them including the ones behind the gears. This can be done If I recall by turning the engine and getting acess thru the slots in the gears. Its pretty straight forward when its apart and you see everything. when I did mine most all the bolts were loose somewhat. If one worked out it would stand to do the same thing the pin might do. Some time ago I was talking with a shop owner/advertiser here ??? he mentioned it destroyed the engine he was working on from a bolt breaking and running thru the gears etc.
