I wish i had 4x4 but if i did my truck probably wouldn't be runnin anymore cause i would not be able to keep it out of the desert. but my 2x4 did alright in an ice/snow storm we had in december. I was acctually surprised at some of the steep hills it went up with no problems, Your choice i like my 2wd cause it keeps me out of trouble.

All I had were 2wd until 2004 and I could climb some pretty good hills @ the ranch. We always had heavy flatbeds and 5 speeds, could go good if you didn't touch the gas pedal and just let the old Cummins do the thinking! But I would go along with the 4wd guys; it's always there if you need it and it doesn't cost much more when you buy and you always get it back when you sell! Just a thought.

Sell the ford, buy both trucks, build a rust free 4x4. Not that hard.
