Longer rear leafs?

Another vote for GM 63s and a shackle flip. I've done 2 of them the first being on a M880 a built to crawl in and now my 85 crew I'm building. The ride in the M880 was so much better than stock and flexed really well for a basic leaf spring setup.
Here is a pic of the bracket I used on the M880 to do the shackle flip. It was a front rear leaf spring mount off an 80s model chevy truck. Cheap and effective IMO.
I was running 52" stock GM rear springs up front on my own custom mounts and shackles which netted me about a 5" lift over all and the rear sat just a tad lower with no block.
I'm using Jungle brackets to mount them on the crew and I'm going to order new Deaver springs with either 2 or 3 inch lift built into them after I get the truck moving under it's own power again. With Jungle's mounts outback I'm running 1 ton GM springs with no block and the truck just sags in the rear about an 1"-1.5".

why is the aft jungle rear spring mount so far to the rear. Even when completely flat I don't see the shackle angle moving (much) past straight up and down.

so I have been considering this 63" spring Idea my self. what if I wanted to do it in my 2wd and keep my stock height though? im really just wanting to help out in the ride department, doing the fab will be no problem just want to make sure it will work before I start shopping for some springs. also do the 1/2 ton chevs have the 63" springs or just the 3/4 and 1 tons? also what is the width of the springs?
