LMC truck finally appears to be showing us 1st genners some love!
I was doing some reading over on cumminsforum and I saw a thread about LMC truck starting to offer a catalogue for the 81-93 dodge trucks. I looked on their website for more info but no real detail that I could see. Either way, I signed up to have the "free" catalogue sent to my doorstep so we'll see when that arrives. Hopefully they offer some of the more hard to find parts for our rigs. I'm not sure why it took so long. Seems like if you have an older ford or chevy with a solid frame, you can pretty much build the truck from their catalogue... Is Chrysler finally loosening up and allowing LMC to make reproduction parts? I sure hope so!

They are gauging interest right now, hopefully everyone and their dog signs up for the catalog. That will show them there is a strong demand for 1st gen parts

They don't seem to know about DTR.
They don't seem to know that D350's and W350's exist.
They don't seem to have a general e-mail to reach them with suggestions.
I hope they survive the bean counter's interference and get this going.

Its seems as though they had an early Dodge catalog coming out soon six years ago. I'm glad to see a date posted but remember inquiring about parts years ago and having them say its coming soon. Maybe it took them that long to source parts?
We should all go to that link and sign up, maybe if they see all the interest they will continue to look into the older Dodges. I've looked through their chevy books and nosparkplugs is right, you can just about order a complete truck..... some assembly required
I read somewhere that Dodge only produced a fraction of what ford or chevy made in the 80 to early 90's and thats why there is less support, yet I see old Dodge trucks almost every day. Not sure if its just because I have an interest in them and dont notice other older trucks or what?

I don't think they know about 1-tons in general. When I had a 1968 C30 they only advertised for C/K10, and C/K20's.

Most likely they leave out the 1 tons due to the smaller volume that were produced compared to the other partial tonnages.
AKA: not worth their time to figure out the differences.

There was another thread about this a while back. I signed up for a "catalog" if one ever becomes available. I don't imagine it'll be all that big at first though .
