I makes some difference. I noticed more with the fat mat. I haven't been able to road test. All I can compare is engine noise. I don't have the truck road legal yet.

The lizard skin didn't change the sound of a panel when you tap on it. The fat mat made a big sound change.

Right now the biggest area I am getting noise is the 6 spd shifter hole. I am going after that real soon.

I had the bottom of my crew cab covered with lizard skin and then they put a thick layer of black paint over it to seal it and make it easier to clean off dirt/road grime. I plan on covering the entire inner cab with Dyna Mat. Have already lined the inside of the doors with Dyna Mat and you can definitely tell a difference by just knocking on the outside of the door with your knuckle.

Hopefully one day I can give some feed back on the cab when I get it on the road.
