lights and buzzer

when i open the drivers side door the cab light doesnt come on, and the buzzer wont go off. but the lights turn on when u open the passenger door.
knowing that these trucks are old and didnt come with the switch to turn the "cab light coming on off when u open the door" option, and knowing how some people tend to be, the wire was cut. im guessing its not a fuse since it still works on the passenger side.

which wire is it? i guess i should get off my butt and start pokin around before i bother you guys.

if the wire gets reconected, will the buzzer work? cause i love the buzzer lol

There is a switch in the door jamb. Check for loose connections, bad wire, or a failed switch. Then start chasing.

yea most of the time the switch will be stuck in due to rust or the switch is bad.

swap the switch from the passenger side, into the driverside to see if it works.
