lift pump inlet fitting
Hi, I'm about to change the leaky lift pump in my 93. I see there is some sort of strange assembly on the inlet side... plastic.
If I just back the fitting out of the pump, will it break something?
I looked at the sticky for changing the pump but none of the pictures work.
pls adv,
tks,
rjm

The fuel line from the tank simply plugs into that fitting. Just release the two tabs on either side of the hose fitting to remove it from the pump. Then unscrew the pump's fitting.
No weird science.
