Leather Buckets

Theres an automotive flea market coming up soon and theres usually a few vendors with seats. i was wondering what seats out of what fit into our trucks. i would like leather buckets with a center console. post some pics on what you did and what the seats are from.

I put some 2nd gen 40/20/40s in without much trouble. 3rd gens have been swapped in too.

If you are going to fab something, the only limit is your ability and wallet.

Or height if you have a standard cab. I'm too tall for 2nd gen seats. I got some aftermarket ones from boms racing.

I have 2 trucks (reg cab 91 and ext cab 93) both with leather buckets from a Durango. The 93 has heated leather with power lumbar, the 91 non-heated with manual lumbar. I cut stock 1st gen bucket mounts and welded the power sliders to them. Everyone that has seen them thinks they are factory. They also have a ram's head embroidered in the headrest.

I am pretty computer illiterate, so I guess I will do what any upper 40's non-IT type does, turn it over to a teenager. I'll give my 16YO son a bit of summer "homework" and try to get some pics up.

Being only 5'6" I find the 2nd gen seats hit me in the back of the calf instead of my knees extending past the enge of the seat.
On a 5speed truck I'd have issues with the clutch.
I found a set of factory buckets and put them in.
I want leather tooso once these are worn I'll get them re-upholstered and add seat heaters which are available aftermarket.
