Either get new springs or take them to a spring shop and see if they can put some new life back in them.

My vote would be for new springs. when you re-arch a spring it will return to flat in no time at all. They take a set and its hard to get that out and keep it out.

Make sure you have them add a full length leaf under the top leaf. I will try and get you a photo of mine tomorrow . It will last so much longer.

Depending where you get them they can be reasonably cheap. Not to long ago, there was a member on here that had two new front springs custom made from Alcan Springs and they only cost him around 300 +/- for the pair, if I remember correctly. There is a thread on it here, search for it. It also has some pretty good pictures too, particularly showing the new found flex of the springs.

or you could go to a junkyard and get yourself some front springs out of a 250 or 350 ram and use that as a add a leaf type deal....

On my 1992 I had a local shop install a Skyjacker 1" front leveling kit. I don't think it was real expensive, and I even including labor I paid around $1000.

I spent $90.00 a few years ago to have a truck spring shop re-arch my front springs & add a leaf to the spring pack on my old 93. That was just for the labor; I removed & installed the springs myself. They lasted about a year until they sagged again to the point where I couldn't put my finger between the bumpstop and the spring; I spent a few bucks and put skyjacker front springs in, and they held up until the day I sold that 93. Thats just my experience on re-arched springs. It was a reputable big-rig shop that did my springs, too.
