KY 1st gen meet June 14-15 - Who's coming?
Original thread: https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=179527
This thread is a poll to get a head count for the fine folks who are putting this meet together. This is a public poll, so we reserve the right to publicly humiliate you if you say you're coming then don't show up.
Wish I could make it myself this year, but I just can't afford it right now.

Hey guys when and where in KY is this meet. I flipped back to the original thread but couldn't seem to find a definate date or place. Seems like a poll to find out what dates are good for folks. Any who I'm in Gallatin, Tn so I'd like to try to bring the 92' out just gotta figure out time and place and see if its in the budget. thanks guys.

Re-read the thread title, Phil.
The location is a hayfield outside Flemingsburg, KY. Get in touch with Jake (fccparts) for exact directions.

sorry man lol its been a long day workin on the truck and if that title was a snake it woulda jumped outta the screen and bit me. It looks like Flemingsburg is about 280 miles or so from me. I reckon we'll have to see what the budget looks like in the next couple days. Thanks for the correction on the obvious dates lol take it easy man.

I would love to make it out.. but the months of May through September are always jam-packed in/around the PA area with competition events.
I recently acquired my first gen and had it to the Spring Fling weekend (Dave knows, he spent several hours over the front/left corner).. There is a certain degree of respect and attention these trucks get.. Let me exaggerate; in past events with my 2nd gen, ..I think i was a no-body!. They are a special breed and I've always had it in my heart to have one. But, i knew when initially shopping for a diesel (6 yrs ago).. i wanted a 2nd gen. For the p-pump, comfort and ergonomics. But guess which truck mostly sits now???

as much as it hurts to type this, the louisiana contingent will not be present this year. i thought we did good last year with 3 trucks and we all had fun.
still a 13 hour (one way) road trip at 1754 miles (round trip)
1754/22mpg = 79.73 gallons at 5.00/gal = $398.65. add in eats, hotel, etc its a $500-600 trip from here. that's almost twice what i budgeted last year. take plenty of pics for us that can't make it.

I wish I could make it this year as last year was great, but the cost of fuel and the wife having surgery this year will not let us attend. Iintended to come up but maybe next year will be better for us. Hope you all have a great time and for sure post pictures.

Hey guys, I haven't been on in quite a while with a new job and have been looking forward to this weekend for some time. I just spent the evening cleaning the garage for all my swap meet items... you would happen to have pockets full of cash and need tons of parts would you dodgerdoob? I'll list the parts in the classifieds anyways. I am voting yes to being there on the 14th, please someone else show up!!!
