Unhappy Kinda sad to see her go, and not getting another Cummins for awhile.

A local guy offered me $2500 for the old dodge and If it doesnt pass that on eBay I gotta take it. My wife and I stumbled across an 06' Yukon XL 4x4 that has every option but leather and think it would be a great family ride. Not to mention the sticker of $44K but after the rebates its only $32K. You cant get much more rebates than that. I sure am going to miss this thing, I really like it. It was my first diesel and I will surely have another within the next couple years.

Besides, the 07' cummins is supposed to have 750tq stock and an awsome tranny.

If you guys dont mind I'll still hang around here and stay up to date with the good ole' first gen news. Lots of good people here for sure.

A Yukon? Enjoy your gas mileage...

We have an 05 CTD with the extended cab that fits 6 just fine

Anyway, good luck with whichever you choose, and we don't mind you hanging around.

Well I just picked it up. Its mine. Its freaking awsome. It tells you everything like milage, oil life %, even tire pressure in each tire. It has onstar free for a year which includes a built in voice activated phone. Its got it all. Stock milage with a light foot is supposed to be 18, but after I tune it with HPTuners and do a couple small mods to it I bet I get 20-21. We'll see.

It ended up being $34500 out the door with extended powertrain warranty. Not too bad for something with a sticker price of $43636.

Excellent! I'm glad to hear you are happy with it. I hope in the future you will be able to own a Cummins along with the Yukon... or of course you could put a 5.9 in it Have fun.

After you have had that Cummins that long why get rid of now. If you can afford a Yukon what real difference is that little bit of money gonna make in the big picture. Keep it for a run a round beater truck to haul stuff with. After that long it's a part of who you are.
