Theres a couple state parks that may be close enough to camp in, like General Butler or Blue licks. I'll look them up and see which are closest and post the mileage, amenities etc.

blue licks is about 15 minutes away not that bad of a drive at all

Yep, you're right, the closest camping is Blue Licks Battlefield. It's about 15 minutes from Flemingsburg and can handle RVs too.

Carter Caves is 45 minutes to an hour away. It has RV sites as well.

Kentucky State Parks are pretty nice and rated some of the best in the nation.

my opinion here, get a date set in stone. then take a head count for the definite and the maybe's. then once thats done, start getting individual needs for camping, hotels, pets, vendors, etc. your reaching out in new territory here and this has the potential to be a great event for us. i appreciate the effort. just try not to get buried in the small details.

i pretty sure any weekend would work in june, but the 9th would be the best for me.
