Just scored some 17x8 3rd gen wheels with grreat tires for $125!!!!
Since I took the nice 18" rims off the old dodge and put them on my Dmax I've been back to the stock 92' rusted metal rims. So I've been looking around for some good rims and tires to replace the rusted ones with.
Then this morning I found some stock 05' 2500 chrome rims with BFG Rugged Trail tires that look almost new for $125 on craigslist!!!!!
I'll see about mounting them up tonight and measure for what size wheel spacers I'll need. I'm thinking 1.5" for the rears and 1.25" for the front. We'll see tonight and I'll take pics.

I think you can run 1.5 on front and back. It'll look great. rbrettctd did this i think..so did a few others like schamram but he's 4x4 and you're 2wd.
Get some pics when you get them on

I want them to run just about even with the funder wells, I cant stand for rims and tires to be tucked way under the truck.
Just looked at a bunce of pics, I think I am going with 1.5" front and 2" rear spacers. The front is a little wider stock and I want them to line up right. I cant stand the rear tires to be tucked in further than the fronts.

I took a couple quick pics today. I still have a ton of body work to get it ready for paint, but at least i'm making progress. I also ordered some 2" spacers that should be here early next week. The pics are with them just bolted up and the center caps are sitting on the long lug nuts making them stick out right now, but with the new spacers on it'll fix that problem.

The last 2 pics were added for fun. Since we all know each window sticker adds 10hp, then I have 30 more hp right there. LOL The last pic is my other toy/daily driver. I still love the old first gen and hope to get it into the condition I want so I can drive it more often. Plus when the Dmax is dead and gone we all know the old 12 valve will still be running. LOL
The rims on the chevy were originaly on the old 92' and looked awesome! One of these days I may buy another set to go back on there, and a set for the wifes H2, that way they all kinda match. LOL
