Just got her back and two major problms. HELP!

Last November I blew the rear towing. I decided to install a Dana 80 (with ARB air locker) and refreshed the Getrag with bearings and seals.
The first thing I noticed is the speedometer didn't work. I checked the connector and found a pinched wire on the on the transfer case shift bracket. I fixed that but, still no spedo. I checked the fuses and all are good. All the speed sensors I found on line are for A/T. The little gear box that the speed sensor attaches to separated from the piece that screws into the transfer case. So does anyone know where to get these parts?
The second thing is I have a problem with is my EGTs, they are almost uncontrollable. As soon as I hit a hill they shoot up and I have to feather the throttle to drop them down and drop a gear. I didn't have this problem before and I didn't touch anything on the engine. The truck has plenty of power to clime its just the temp slowing me. I turned out the fuel screw 3/4 turn and that didn't make much of a difference. I have a PS inter cooler and HE351 to install. I am gonna put those in and see if it makes a difference. Does anyone have any idea what would have made these EGTs act like this?
Thank You.

What's your EGT and boost numbers when your egt's go crazy?

Where's the EGT probe mounted?

Off topic here, but could you post a NAPA part number for the gear ratio box for the getrag.

Reason being, I was told and cant find one for mine as was told by the dealer that the ratio boxs were discontinued.

VSS are still availiable.

Boost jumps right up to 20-22 and I let off the throttle at 1200. The boost takes about a second or two to top off and the EGTs three or four seconds till I let off. I pushed it once to see where it would stop and I stopped at 1400. The throttle is only about a 1/4 of the way down at 1200. The probe is mounted in the rear bank of the manifold, one half or so inches from the turbo. Exactly where it said in the installation instructions. I didn't have this problem before and I changed nothing on the engine recently.

I second this. Only mine is mounted on the transfer case. Or any info from Napa you remember would be helpful. I have 3.54 rear gears.
