Get a set of used alcoas. I think I wanted the 058s but ended up finding the alcoas. I'm running 265/75s on mine.

[QUOTE=PapeCAT;2933709]Good to see it went to a good owner. I'm selling my 1993 on Ebay right now as well.. It has been a busy last couple of days to say the least.

Doesn't surprise me you've been busy with that truck. I seen the truck and bids right after it was listed and knew you would be VERY BUSY!! Sweet ride...Can't believe you're getting rid of it!!

Good luck in the sell!

Very cool truck. Hopefully I can find a perfect truck like that in a couple of years. It is my dream to get a 91 - 93 W-250. I know how hard it is to find one in such great shape. Luckily patience paid off when I got my 89' D-250. Good luck with her.

Thanks to everyone for the complements. I went down and checked it out last weekend before the auction went off, going back to pick it up in the morning (If I can get any sleep ) Can't wait to get her home and start doing a few mods!

Update. So far I've added a denny t, 3200 spring, new wheels/tires, tinted the windows and put on some amber led cab lights.

My question:
Shortly after I put on the new wheels and tires i've noticed occasionally the steering feels a little tough in a turn, like it's binding a little, and then I can feel a little pop or a jerk in the steering wheel. Any idea where to start looking to find the source of this problem? Thanks.

PapeCAT,
Which truck do you have on E-Bay? I'm sure if it's yours, it's exceptionally nice, I've seen pictures of some of your trucks.

Oldwhite12V,
Congrats on your new purchase. I bought my first 1st gen about 8 months ago, I now have two. If I had the money, I'd have four. Nice truck!

Seems like maybe you got a worn out u-joint in the front diff that's binding when you turn the wheels then all of a studden gives way does it move the truck over when it happens?

Regarding your steering bind, it's probably coincidental taht it appeared when you switch tires, or it's aggravated by the new tires. Common source of a bind like you describe is a bad axle U-joint. Jack the truck up and spin the wheels while cranking the steering back and forth feeling for a bind.
