Did you have the banjo fitting off the return line leaving the IP??? its different.. it has a VERY small hole in it for pump case pressure....

You could have the line colapsing in the tank.. but if you still have any pressure at the IP.. then that's out...

Make sure the return line isn't pluged somewhere....
Its not looking too good...

Sorry to bring this back to top, but I wanted to let everyone know the problem was the injection pump. Got my spare pump on and running. Runs great, no more misses. Only problem now is the slop-o-matic trans and the open diff. I went sideways leaving the alley behind my garage for a test drive . Now gotta get that PDR35 installed and start researching converters.
