Question IP Linkage

I've been checking the internet for a couple of days and cannot find a source for the big spring looking thingy on the top of the fuel pump that serves to transfer the action from the ball jointed linkage to the fuel pump itself.... the post that the spring thingy rides against (when off idle position) is worn almost in two as well as the spring. Some additonal play in the ball joints of the linkage can also be observed. I have found the ball jointed linkage but not the spring or post. Anyone out there have any suggestions?? (Other than sleeving the play out.)

It's called a breakover spring and is available from Bosch. PN...eh, not so sure on that Not sure on the post that the spring engages...I broke one once and drilled it out and put a hardened bolt of similar size up through. It's been working good so far, knock on wood

Thanks... If you come up with a part number (or a web site), great. Mine has not broken thru yet, but it's not far off.... Thats a good idea with the hardened bolt....

Breakover spring number is in the tech facts section.

Try slipping a small piece of tubing over the post as a sleeve.

You can also braze the pin and grind it back down smooth. It will last as long as original.

Look about 1/2 way down in the parts breakdown, is it part #306?
I sleeved mine with a Buchanan crimp barrel used for electrical.
Check the 3rd picture down in the article.
