Intro (kinda) and question...turbo wheel nut torque?

I just tried to register and it tols me I already was...news to me, been so long I forgot!

Anyhow, I am on here daily reading the great writeups some of you have posted, I will begin to add my own here soon since I aquired a 1993 w250 club 4x4 5spd, bone stock. I have had several cummins trucks over the past 25 years including 2 new ones ('94 & '96)...but I have forgotten most of what I knew about them, so I may ask several stupid questions along the way...here is the first:

I just recieved from Gillett diesel the CHO5 wheel/housing and the THO5 16cm2 housing, going to install soon...question is, what is the torque for the nut that holds the wheel on the shaft?
Recommended way of removing that nut...some say impact, I am not fond of that idea unless there is no other option.

You can hold the other end of the shaft, it has a nut-shaped end. Don't forget that the threads are reverse! Make sure your torque wrench works in reverse, or use a beam style wrench. If nobody gives you the spec I'll check my fsm when I get home.

signature is under user cp.

14 Nm (129 in/lbs.) according to the book.

14 NM converts to 124.5 in/lbs.

Thanks guys, I was able to find the Holset PDF manual with specs by searching this forum, it is at:

http://www.holset.co.uk/partsservice...Data_Sheet.pdf

Guess I should have ordered the mounting gasket from Gillett also... no one around here has it in stock.

The dodge dealer should have it, tell them it's an '02.
