Youd have a heck of a time fitting it somewhere. Intercooler tubes would hit lots of stuff being that narrow. Not sure about the benefits of it...

That one sounds kinda small. Dont really know, but if your gonna go to the effort and want to upgrade, use the Powerstroke intercooler. Its very similar to the Banks model. A few have done this and seem to have pretty good success. Either way sounds like your willing to modify.

BUDGET KEEPS ME FROM INSTALLING THE P/S I/C RIGHT NOW. I WAS THINKING OF MOUNTING IT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE INNER FENDER, AND ADDING A ELECTRIC FAN TO COOL IT. I HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT TO DO THIS. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK? THANX.

Something else to consider is this prospective IC rated to support the boost pressure you ultimately expect to push through it (ignoring the volume)?
As small as it is, I imagine it most likely came off a gasser that would run Much less boost therefore having the IC built to handle only, . . . . say 20 to 30 psig tops.

Is your unit heating up now or just hoping to keep the egts down?? Most intercoolers are able to pull air from out side the way a radiator flows air. On the fender even with the fan pushing or pulling air, it will always be affected by heat buildup under the hood. Just something to think about.

Bad idea, way too small and no way, electric fan or not, to get enough flow through it. Inlet/outlet are probably too small. A fan big enough to do any good would never fit along with it anywhere under the hood.
