Have some 5x14 injectors on the way, what thickness of injector washer should i use? Currently have stock timing and M&H spacer.

Pretty sure they are 145, i bought them used from a member on 1stgen,org and he bought them from DAP. They only show 145's.

I've got .030" washers under mine with a 155 spray which is correct for my non i/c pistons. Runs really strong and very clean even in heavy throttle applications!

If they're stock type VCO injectors they'll need .096 If they're sacs they'll need .030 or even less.

Sacs are visibly shorter in length.

Hmm, not sure. I will post a pic when they get here.

I am going to order this kit:

http://www.cumminsperformanceparts.com/ininsekit.html

I am leaning towards the thinner as i imagine i will run more timing in the future.

Sounds like a job for the Cummins factory maintenance manual. My thoughts would be the distance from the tip to the top of the piston. I'm sure the depth of the injector pockets in the head aren't accurate to +-.001".

For performance and/ or added timing, just use the thinnest ones.

Sure thing...you're helping me! So, are you going with the "thin" washer kit from the link you posted above?

The injectors I just purchased are identical to yours...DAP slightly used 145° spray angle 5 x .014s.
