Those are the ddp 4's. Too much money for a 5X.014. I would recommend New Era 435's for the equivilent. Plus they're only 500 after you send in you old sticks. And I have ran New Era 435's. They are an awesome performance injector but too hot for towing.

when you say they were to hot for towing what temps were you seeing? what mods did you have done to the truck and what was the weight you were towing. I was looking to get them and had talked to the guys at new era and they said i would be fine towing around 7000#'s with them with the pump turned down with a hybrid hx-35 turbo.

Maxed pump, no AFC with a 12cm/60mm compressor and I seen 1600* real easy. I built twins and they liked those injectors. I sold them and now have 6X.016's to put in. I was just dragging some hopper wagons around the farm here when I had the single on and seen those temps. You may want to call Chuck back and make sure you were on the same page. When I first called him about those 435's last year he tried to talk me out of them unless it's a "offroad hot rod" kinda truck.

I bought some second hand for 4bills 3 weeks after I spoke with him. They are a hot rod injector. It will take twins and a good cooling system to tow heavy with a hot rod pump and those sticks. I believe you could detune your pump if you wanted to and probably run them fine, I chose not to.

i will have to give him a call in person. we only talked though email. what are those 6x.016's you speak of? i am not too familiar with the sizes and all. how do they compare to the 435's? bigger smaller?? I am looking for an injector that will do about 350-425 hp and still be able to tow. I don't mind having to turn down the pump before i tow because i pretty much only tow my camper. and have plenty of time to detune the truck before any trips.

370's are 5x12's, make less power than POD's in a 1st gen. I would recommend 6x16's for what you're wanting to do.

Several shops make them, ask guys who are running them where they got 'em. Mine are 6x0.016's.

JL Machine in Michigan. I'll find their number today. They Quoted 360 to EDM them and gut the inards. I pay shipping and provide them with my injectors. You can buy new replacement nozzles for 40 a piece and send them with your injectors and they will EDM the new nozzles, pop test and flow them.
