Which injector

Ok since it seems that the only way I am going to get the FSS to survive is with bigger injectors what ones do I get? I rarely tow and if I do it is under 10,000 pounds. I also am not against a bigger turbo if needed to support bigger injectors. There are so many sizes and styles I am kinda lost like usual.

PODs are cheap and make good power for their price. I've been really happy with mine. They are a little smokey, but any big injector will be too. My mileage actually got better than my stockers. I've heard they make a decent towing injector too, but I don't tow that much. Just a thought if you want cheap and easy power.

The smoke is cool at first then it starts to grow old when driving in traffic. I might try to get some that dont smoke as much.

I dont really tow that much or far and it is always light so I guess my truck is turning into more of a play truck than a work truck.

I really like ddp injectors. I have run stage 3's and liked them a lot. Old dyno numbers in my sig were with the ddp 3's. Now I run a custom set and like them too. Haven't gotten on the rollers yet but with my new custom pump I'd say around 450 hp probably more.

I dont have money to burn but if I am going to buy injectors I only want to do it once. I would rather pay a little extra and get a better product. Is there any draw backs to putting the bigger sticks in it?

Justramit91, It sure felt like a large increase. With ddp3s, hybrid turbo and 12mm pump I hit 36 psi. Made 331. With new custom sticks I hit 46 psi and it ripped a lot harder. With new pump and new sticks.................... Lets just say I am beyond the extent of what a 62mm turbo can safely handle with this little 12cm housing. I havent stayed on it long enough to see where the boost stops climbing and I do very short bursts of hammering on it so no absolute numbers for egts. I have other mods to do before I really let her rip. Just driving it nice till I get the bigger intercooler in and a different turbo setup. And some sort of LARGE wastegate if I continue to run a single turbo.

Onemoparnut with the bigger injectors comes some smoke. Easily controlled by driving style. For a moderate increase I would use ddp3's. (45lmp)They were really clean injectors and had pretty good power. For a larger increase get the stage 4's. (55lpm) They have a new "stage" rating. I believe the current stage 3's are 55lpm now. I can't remember. You can call them tell them how much power you want and your current mods and they will hook you up with the right stuff.

My next set will be like a 5x.014 (AKA 435's ). My 6x16's run great, have lots of power but are hazzy all the time. I know the 5x14's will give me all the power I want with less smoke when I want to hide. Just make sure which ever sticks you buy you talk to the maker and let them know your after a clean injector. If they know there stuff they can match an injector with your wants.
