More like the "dork" side.

Best of luck with the new truck, it looks nice.

New truck does look nice. Love the King Cab, make sure you at least upgrade that compressor wheel on that 99.

You may not want to part that 89 out. How else are you gonna tow that stroke home?

Ya Im going to put the cummins in the Ford. Then once I sell the stroke engine Ill P Pump the cummins. The VE engine will make as much or more power than that stock stroke any day and get way better mileage. Ya im leaving the 89 together till I get home she is in St.loluis Mo im in Eugene Oregon training for a job.

You are not going to the dark side if you keep the 1st gen power plant. More power to you!

I'd do the same if I ever totaled the '92 and I could find a Superduty for the right $$$$.

According tosome of the oil field guys, who beat the crap out of their trucks 24 hours a day, the late model Ford's have a sightly stronger front end then the Dodges. The Chevy's IR is too weak for really rough duty, but I am reading that they may have that fixed for next year.

Hey, I'm not happy about it either. I hope FIAT builds the crap out of the new "Rams" and puts them back on top in every way, but Cummins is in danger of falling behind big time. The factory horsepower wars are now between Ford (with the all new 6.7) and Chevy.
Don't get me wrong, there is no engine as good as a Cummins for torque and reliability. And my butt just doesne't fit anything else but Mother's best. I will probably drive my 1st gen and my 1941 Dodge Military Power Wagon until they take away my keys!

ya if dodge woulda had a crew cab 2nd gen I would have bought that over the ford any day but im not happy with the 3rd gen at all. they can keep the common rail I know its nice for power but with almost $500ea injectors they can keep them. Us 12ver`s can buy 2 good sets or injectors for what one good set cost for them cost.
