I'm baaaack - just got a GREAT deal...
After selling my old '92 D250 and driving a Ford Ranger for a year or so, I decided to buy a real truck again. I was almost getting ready to check out a Powerstroke, then I ran across this deal:
An older, retired military guy had this -
1992 D250 LE Xcab
Within the last 8-10 months here is what he did to the truck:
Rebuilt the Engine - bigger injectors (work done by ex Cummins employee - cost $6000?)(17,000 miles now)
Possibly a new turbo (?)
Replaced rear-end gears
Complete front-end rebuild
New suspension all around
Mags
New tires (recent)
New instrument cluster
Tachometer
Mounting rails for "Hidden Hitch" gooseneck/5th wheel
He said he had invested about $8000 in the last year - was asking $5000 - got it for $4500!!
Looks like it had about 170k original miles - not sure. Needs seat covers and a front bumper - maybe paint if I get picky. Oh well - YIPEE!

I was just about ready to pay $800 to get a ($7000) W250 shipped to me, then this one kinda "fell out of the sky". Needless to say, when (if) I decide to sell it, I will make a few (thousand) dollars...

I put a Pic in my gallery. The first one is the one I'm picking up tomorrow. The second one called (D250 Lifted) was my other D250 (sold it). The only difference is the interior color. The old one was Red and this one is Charcoal Grey.
