Idler pulley froze up....
a good 10 miles from home... good thing i was on a hill thou! coasted almost all the way home
anyways, It looks like a standard chry piece (and I swear i just tossed one from a chry 3.0) So where do I have to go to get a replacement? I need one like yesterday... Can I order one from a part store or is it dealer only? Also... can I just get the bearings/pulley or do I have to get the whole thing?
thanks
Dustin

It's a standard Cummins piece. You can get them at most any auto parts store, though. It will set you back about $90 for the tensioner assembly. You can get just the pulley and bearings from some places, but I would replace the whole thing. They wear at the pivot point and make the belt walk off into the alternator when they go bad.

autozone was 69.99 for a dayco. Mine has been making a little noise so I was thinking about it. I think you can get just the pulley for it as well which was cheaper.
