idle shake.. bad to worse

i'm getting in on this topic also. i have the exact same problem also right to a T!!!! bring the engine off idle shake goes away. i checked all my motor trans mounts today, i had my employee torque the motor up in gear on and off the gas . all the mounts are fine. my truck has only 165,000 on it. it done it since i've owned it. what the hell can it be???!!!! later, pete

All you have to do is ground out the solenoid (i.e. put the threaded part on negative terminal on the battery) and apply voltage via a test lead. 24 mm or 15/16" will remove it so you can see what's happening. There are no gaskets to replace. The O-ring on the end of the solenoid can be reused.

If it is worse after the tranny swap, I'd suspect something is slightly mis-aligned in the tranny or clutch just a hair, throwing it out of balance, and thus causing your vibration at low RPM.
Also, injectors have to get pretty bad before you can crack the line and notice a difference. If they are to that point, they ALL need replaced. At least that has been my experience. Take them out and get them tested. should pop around 3550 psi, no more than 50psi variance overall.
