Nice. I've been admiring that truck. Only problem was it's 2,000 miles away.

I know you will love it, have fun.

I just figured a big cummins powered truck should be a "he"...but have no problem calling it a "she".....

Thanks, I'd been looking for a 1sy Gen, cummins powered crewcab for a while, and couldn't believe I found one so close to home!! Would have preferred a short box, but can't complain really.

Very nice!

Looks like a 2nd gen abs valve that's no worky. Perhaps a 2nd gen master cyl.

And the old style radiator. I can tell by the mounts and the overflow tube crosses all the way to the drivers side.

Looks like they kept the A/C, does it work?

Does the horn work? I don't see anything where the green/red stripe horn wires are.

Think the booster and master were off a 93? The A/C is hooked up but doesn't cycle, probably no refrigerant. And the horns work fine.

So yesterday I pulled my stacks...sorry just wasn't working for me, and scrapped off the union jack flags, and the other decals. Then toady I installed the my class IV hitch and the rear bumper.

Looks better...at least to me....

Well since Gyman98 brought this back to the top I may as well update a little since I've had the truck for just over a year now. And absolutely lovin it!!

Lots of work done so far, New tires, rebuilt IP, KDP, case bolts, new fan and clutch assembly, Power steering/vacuum pump upgraded to IC style, valves adjusted (3 times now), brakes done around, front end rebuilt, serviced drive line (all fluids) 2nd Gen front seat, Pyro/Boost and Tach, 2nd gen fuel heater, Piston lift pump, rad coolant overflow tank moved and retrofitted, Complete Front door seals and weather strips (backs still to be done), painted grille and interior parts....Most of my upgrades and repairs I've posted up here on the board.

Still on the list to get done....More gauges Temp/oil pressure/Charge, finish the A/C retrofit and install Sanden Compressor instead of the stock C171 unit, Rebuild and install HX35 and intercooler, new carpets, front and rear glass re-sealed, install proper tranny cross member, redo the 2 piece drive shaft, so they use the factory steady bearing mount...etc.

Here's a couple more recent pics....

TCows, in the last pic of the series of pics in post #1 of your tread, I see that the brake differential valve is not hooked up to the master cylinder. It has the lines just dangling there. Is that how it came from the previous owner? Did he remove/bypass that diff valve? I find it odd that it's even up there next to the MC. I thought the 93 model years were the only trucks that had the diff valve directly under the MC, while the earlier models from 89-92 had the brake diff valve mounted down low, on the inside of the drivers side frame rail.

Augie...Not sure what year the prop valve was moved up by the MC, but all the previous owner had done was to tie the brake lines into the prop valve down inside the drivers side inner frame rail.

So, what became of that unused prop valve? Just curious
