IC vs NON-IC injector lines & intake

so im going to put a intercooler on my NON-IC engine. would there be any reason i would need the intercooled injector line and intake plate?

the guy i bought all my getrag, turbo stuff from said the non-intercooled intake i gave him wont fit right on his intercooled engine because of the injector lines and intake plate.

i want to make him happy for hooking me up with the parts and get him a complete engine again. my 24v intake is super close to the master and i dont want to risk it not fitting. does that intake plate sit farther forward or back?

THANK YOU!

The I/c and N/Ic'd plates are different but you can do like I did and flip your N/Ic plate 180* to clear the M/C. When you do this your N/Ic throttle bracket wont fit right and there will be no way to fasten it on the top as the 24v horn is much taller. I finaly ended up going with I/c throttle bracketry and lines so it all works right

Here are some pics

This is with a 2nd gen 12v horn you can see the throttle bracket just dont fit right

This is with 24v horn and I/C 1st gen lines throttle bracketry and "special"I/C DVs and holders so the line fit

looks good. yeah i messed up and bought a CR 03-07 intake but it still fits... but not by much. got it for $1 on ebay. so the intercooled plate sits farther forward? he wants to switch all that stuff so its all free to me.

Yes the opening is farther forward on a I/C plate when installed the correct way. It also has 2 provisions for sensors

They neck way down at the bolt bosses. They flow about the same as a 1st gen horn
