The converter is slipping anywhere between 15-20 percent depending on which part of the powerband you're looking at. That costs hp over a manual trans or a lockup version....not sure how much. And yeah I have injectors and an expensive trans Crossy, but it's still nothing compared to what newer trucks costs. I actually could have skipped the trans rebuild and just got the converter because I found out it had been recently rebuilt when J&H took it apart. But....it was already apart, so in went the new parts anyhow.

Just to show the different in timing with big injectors and how much HP you get I'm almost at the point of taking my 13mm S-wrench to Cali and taking the 30 minutes to advance the timing for them. Then we can see a much quicker throttle and alot more HP on the rollers. It only takes a little time to bump the timing and make a pull, then bump it back down. I want to see than thing make some all fuel power.
