I think I Messed my pump up
This winter I Removed my pump, and injectors. I cleaned the trash out of the delivery valves from my shut off solenoid. I had new Nozzles put on my injectors. Put every thing back on along with a dennyt 2 pin. The thing won't start. I have got fuel coming out the lines a t the injectors. does not seem real strong.
Any ideas?

I took the d/v's out, head off, down to the cam plate. Freed up the small pin that rides on the fuel pin. The manual shut off lever jumps if I hold it while cranking engine.

If the shutoff lever is jumping like that then the control collar is in there right.
The cam plate moves the control collar which moves the fulcrum lever. And that's what you are feeling in the shutoff lever.
You probably haven't got all the air out of the IP yet. Keep pumping that fuel in. I know mine took forever after I resealed it and a have an electric lift pump. Good luck.

If the small ball on the end of the lever didn't stay in the control collar, then you will not get a strong injection pulse to the injectors. You'll still get fuel, but not enough pressure to open the injectors.

Can you post a picture of where this is.

If the shutoff lever is kicking back at him then the ball is in the control collar.

Right but if you hold back the kill lever you're going to feel it kicking back at you if it's put together right.

More than likely just the governor flyweights moving a bit from the centrifugal force but would only move so far as rotation speed wouldn't be increasing just yet, especially since he has a no-start. That being said, I think it would still "kick," as you describe, even if the ball of the fulcrum lever wasn't indexed in the metering sleeve correctly. However, if all that were the case, then why doesn't mine "kick" when I shut it down with the manual lever using my thumb? I believe it shouldn't be "kicking" period if it's put together correctly.
The problem, to me, sounds a bit more involved. Something is jammed. My guess is that the metering sleeve could be stuck on the plunger exposing the spill port just enough for low injection pressure. Low enough that the needle within the injector nozzle can't be lifted from it's seat for injection to happen.
