Been trying to get a second fuel pump on this new motor and space between the front cover/balancer and fan is a major issue. Decided to cheap out and buy a wrecking yard electric fan off a 1993-1996 Lincoln MkVlll. After placing the order I did a search here and found they are a bit too thick. I was hoping to find something that would clear a front cover mounted fuel pump that drives off the power steering gear. Looks like the search goes on. It's a crying shame they don't still have the port in the block for the mechanical pump to attach to. I don't mind having one electric fuel pump for priming after injector changes and to supply more fuel when required, but 2 just seems like a headach since i have not had good luck with them lasting.

Would this work? Not sure how much room you have/need.

Why not use one of the Aeromotive Eliminator pumps? It should keep up.
