84 w350 4 speed 360 to Cummins. I just bought the truck and want to put a 12 valve Cummins in it will the tranny bolt up or not and will the gas 4 speed tranny work? All I want as far as electrical is oil, pressure, tack temp, speed and maybe boost any help is greatly appreciated.

Gas v8 trans will not bolt up. Needs to be from a cummins or a V10.

Plumbing/wiring gauges is similar for most engines, diesel or gas. The intercooled engines in Dodges had a crank sensor that can be used for a tach signal.
